Plot
Two Harkonnen sisters fight against forces that threaten the future of humanity and establish the legendary sect known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether they explore the stars, escape a dystopia, or make the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Anderson. A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Brotherhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit.

The episode, voiced by Valya Harkonnen, is in an episode called “Mentats of Dune.” The three books connect the development of the Brotherhood, the Mentats, the Marines, and the Zuk doctors. It is mentioned in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: The New Normal (2020). I wanted to keep it short and to the point, but I was forced to expand my thoughts. There was a time when the writers knew how to weave exposition into the narrative without being forced or convoluted.
I think the series has gotten better
I get that it’s the first episode, but do they have to explain everything like it’s not common knowledge? Watson (Valya), Mark Strong (Emperor), Travis Fimmel (Hart), and Sarah-Sofie Boussnina (Princess) give good performances. The rest of the characters didn’t really appeal to me. They move the story along but are forgettable.
They did a fantastic job with the visuals
I guess we’ll see how this one develops. I had a hard time focusing on the first episode. He seemed like he was part of an indivisible whole. I’m looking forward to the full season before I consume any more episodes.
The art department deserves awards for its beauty
